Beaver Dam
Fred Bohl immigrated from Germany to the U.S. at the age of 12. Records indicate his family lived in Kane, Illinois for a few years. Fred married his wife Lydia in 1895 and is listed as living in Beaver Dam in 1910. He produced some of the finest folky decoys ever made. His decoys are hard to find and highly sought after.
