George Windross, Jr was from the Oconto area, more specifically a place known as Pensaukee. He carved mallards, canvasbacks, bluebills and black ducks. A more detailed description of this carver was written by Burt Callmer and published in the July-August issue of the 2008 Hunting & Fishing Collectibles magazine.
